About us

About Typeface

We are an autonomous collaboration of web, language, and media professionals working together as a quiet, long-form studio. Typeface came into being through the convergence of different disciplines, but our shared focus is the web as a place of continuity rather than acceleration. We design and build websites that are meant to remain readable, adaptable, and useful as technologies, platforms, and expectations change around them.

Our work moves at a considered pace. We prioritise clarity over optimisation, structure over spectacle, and decisions that support longevity rather than short-term performance. This approach allows us to work with a wide range of accepted proposals, while intentionally retaining priority for students, NGOs, research institutes, and not-for-profit organisations.

Each collaborator brings a distinct skillset into the project space—development, language, design, structure—but we work from a shared orientation. Individual perspectives are expanded, aligned, and woven together until the work feels coherent, grounded, and complete.

Our individual stories are shared below. Still, we believe you come to know us best through the work itself, and through the way each project is held over time. We hope you enjoy spending time here, and we welcome you to get in touch if questions arise.
